Arvanitia

Beach type:

Thick pebble in the center. Rocky at the edges of where the access to the sea is a small metal stairs. Medium sized beach, sandy with small pebbles. The bottom of the sea is sandy.

 

Access:

You can reach the beach on foot (from the city center) or by car. Crossing the uphill road near the Land Gate will reach a large parking lot. Then you need to get off the stair to reach the main beach Arvanitia.

 

Location:

It is the closest beach in Nafplion, behind the city of Nafplio Acronafplia (south).

 

Facilities:

Cafe, sunbeds, rented umbrellas, shower, WC.

 

Other information:

Free large parking lot at the entrance of the beach. On the left side of the parking starts the road that connects the Arvanitia beach with Karathona. A walk next to the sea, surrounded by greenery and with breathtaking view. On the right side begins the paved road that connects Arvanitia with the shops near the sea port of Nafplion. This route is called "Arvanitia's Round"and offers stunning view of the Argolic Gulf.
